Sales BOM not exploding in Quotation

Dear All,

I have made a Sales BOM. The Main Component is having Item Category group is LUMF and sub component is having NORM

I am using a combination of TAP / TAN item category for the same.

Sales BOM is exploding in Sales Order but not working for Quotation , I am not able to unserstand why.

It gives me foll. message

Material XXXXXXXX is not copied from Bill of Material.

Can friends out there can help me in this urgentlyas i need to freeze the process with the Client by tonight.

Kindly check the Item Category of the Quotation.

I have maintained the same as in Sales Order , i.e, TAP / TAN but it is not working

Never tried this its only a guess; but make an attempt in VOV8 where select the quotation document type and change it to "C" for the field "SD document categ.".

By default, for quotation, it would have been "B". Post the outcome.

Hi,

but system identify with this sales docu category field only, if we change the category as "c" again it is considered as sales order by system (not a quot)
