Message Type

Hi all,

I need to change a message type (message V4294 Batch &1 in plant &2 does not exist) from W to E; but when i go to (Define Variable Messages) i dont find it and i done find a way to add new entries!!

Any suggestions??

yes it is not available in define message variables in SD, Sales.

do it in SE91 with the help of abaper

Hi

Yea it is not there but i was asking if there any other way before i go to ABAP and development.

What i actually wanna do is to stop the retuen of any batch which doesn't exist in the system.

the message can be made error to warning or warning to error with the help of abaper.

there is no other way.

Check in OVAH whether this message is avaialble where you have the option to change an Error message to Warning and Vice Versa. As right now, I dont have access to SAP, not sure whether this message is available in that tcode.

If it is not available there, then in SE91, you have to run this and check with ABAPer for changing but it is not recommended to do so.
