How to determine amount of data sent/received by partner

Here is our situation. We have PI 7.0 running. Now we want to charge back to our internal users based on the amount of data sent or received. Does anyone know where or if the size of the messages are stored; we would like to get the data by receiver.

This seems like a simple thing, but I have not been able to find anything on this topic.

Thanks,

Rich

I have checked the SXMB_MONI and see the column Message Size... but the values for me are all "zero". I know the message size is not "zero". What have I not done to properly activate the capute of Message Size on SXMB_MONI?

Rich,

in RWB => Performance monitoring you can filter per interface / receiver / sender / etc.

All information is available there (size, timestamp, runtime, ...)

Also you can easily exort data too.

Check it.

Kai

Hi Rich

If your message sizes are '0' then u need to apply a note. Note:1247999.

Thanks

You could program a java mapping that would log the data length.

Through SXMB_MONI when you display messages there is a column that outlines the message size. Also through this transaction you can do your selection based on Sender or receiver so can collect all messages relating to a specific system.
