problem in service order

Hi,

The service notification is created.Service order is created.Confirmation is done and service billing request is created.Now,it is showing the error in the COGI Transaction,the posting period is not open.

I have opened the correct period.still it is showing the same error.

Please help me how to rectify it.

You have opened the current period but what is posting date exists in your service documents please check that.

Maintain current date in your service documents then try

Hi,

This is not the MM posting period..This is FI posting period.The service order is created on 22.02.2009.while i run COGI in 3 march..It is showing this error.

With the help of FI people open the posting period for the month of February also then try.

Hi Srini

Check in which month your company code is in MMPV & MMRV also . If it is in 2nd month close the month and then open the 3rd month and then do the PGI .

Mark 'Allow Posting to Previous Period (Backposting)' checkbox for that Company Code

in OMSY. May be this can help!!

Hi Srini

As the service notification got created when you created service order. and as you are getting error in PGI of COGI transaction , go to OBYC and check the posting period of the transaction event keys
