Delivery creation in background using delivery group

Hi,

I have a scenario to map in which the requirement is to group the different materials on the same sales order into delivery groups so that they are delivered together in delivery.

We are trying to create a delivery using VL10G as well as VL04.Here only one delivery is created using all the line items.I want to create different deliveries for teh same sales order based on the delivery group. Can any one suggest the way ahead.For Eg:

SL No Material Quantity First Delivery Date Delivery Group

10 150000/01 25 01.03.2009 1

20 150000/01 35 04.03.2009 1

30 150040/01 35 01.03.2009 2

40 150040/01 15 10.03.2009 2

30 150040/01 35 18.03.2009 2

The 2 deliveries should be created when the delivery is created in background one for line item 10 & 20

and second for line item 30 ,40 & 50 together.

Rahul,

Under VOV7, check the item category that you have configured . Under Bills of Material / Configuration

Create delivery group = X Form delivery group with one delivery date OR

A -Delivery group with correlated schedule lines under Bill Of Material / Configuration tab

In va02 Screen, Click the "Shipping tab" in the main screen,

Activate Complete dlv. indicator.

Next to the "Material" Column you have "Delivery Group" Column in that you specify the delivery group you want the item to be asscociated with.

Acording to your need enter like this

SNo Material Delivery Group

10 150000/01 1

20 150000/01 1

30 150040/01 2

40 150040/01 2

30 150040/01 2

Proceed as follows.

Hi

If both the delivery groups have the same delivery dates in the schedule lines, then will be delivered in a single delivery and there will not be any delivery split. In the standard, Delivery group is not part of the delivery criteria that causes the delivery split.
