WHERE TO MAINTAIN SELECTION CRITERIA FOR BATCHES?

Amol,

Your Batch determination is configured for automatic process. Which means you cannot manually enter the batch, if you enter system will display error as described by yourself.

Check your configuration settings in

IMG --> Logistics General --> Batch management --> Batch determination and Batch Check -->

Search the config. as follows

a. Strategy types

b. Batch Search Procedure definition

c. Batch Search Procedure Allocation and Check Aviation

and lastly " Activate Automatic Batch determination in SD" this were you can activate Batch for Order or Delivery item categories

and also please go through the link given by our forum members.

Note: Once you give the system to assign batch automatically you cannot enter manually.

go to 0VLK (zerovlk) activate/deactivate automatic batch determination and try

WHEN I ENTER BATCH MANUALLY, I GET THE FOLLOWING ERROR. aUTOMATIC BATCH DETERMINATION IS CONFIGURED...

Invalid batch 11 according to selection criteria in batch determination

Message no. VL215

Diagnosis

This batch is not allowed according to the selection criteria that are assigned to this activity. The specifications of the entered batch do not correspond to the selection criteria from the batch search.

System Response

The valid strategy record was determined according to the search procedure.

Procedure

Check the selection criteria of the activity.
