Hello,
I have configured ccms
the problem is, Autoreaction method does not send mail automatically.
It can successfully generate the alert and I can see that in RZ20 monitoring node.
but when I check the status of Autoreaction method it says,
Autoreaction Method / Type / Definition Status / Runtime Status
ZCCMS_OnAlert_Email [Running in Autoabap] CHECKED Running, but new alerts ( 20.03.2009 , 11:47:02 )
it stays in this yellow status until I execute it manually.
Pls help.
Thanks

Hai,
Are you able to get mails for the alerts if you execute the auto reaction method manually?
Please try it..

Hai,
As you said that the MTE stays in yellow color that means the Auto reaction method is running for that MTE.
Do you find any error status?
Try restarting the method:
To do this, select the relevant MTE, choose Display Details, and on the next screen, choose Edit - Method Status - Reset - Data Collection Method.
Or remove the auto reaction method and then reassign them.
Are you using CENTRAL auto reaction methods?
If you are using CENTRAL auto reaction method then check SAP Note:1259801.
Check whether the job SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER is running or not.

Hai,
Check whether your Background dispatching is activated or not:
Goto to RZ21 - Technical Infrastructure - Method Execution - Activate Dispatching.
I guess the event scheduler is not scheduling the job correctly.
Otherwise remove the auto reaction assignment from the MTE and reassign.
When you check the autoreaction method for the MTE is it saying Running in Autoabap or Running in Background or ???.
If it is in Running in Autoabap then it is Dialog mode, for running in background mode you have to Activate Dispatching as said above.
