workprocess Ended

Hi,

I saw all the workprocess is ended and the log file shows the following error.

ERROR: Connect to message server failed .

Please Help in solving this issue.

Hi Indu,

stop the system,start it again .Hope its working.If not

then post the log file details here.Also give the developer trace.. dev_w0 and .../work....details it gives

the error status...

Hi,

Please check the following two files with the correct entries

"hosts" file

<host ip address> <application server host name>

"services" file

sapms<SID> 36$$/tcp # where "$$" is system number

and make sure the port 36$$ is free for message server only.

and restart your system.

If it is not solved your problem then please let me know OS and data base details and the log file dev_disp, dev_ms, dev_w0.

This could happen because loss of connectivity with the message server/router. Please check your network connections are ok.

Hi

The error was possibly encountered as the message server services were not available to the work processes. Restart the system and check SM21 for system logs. You would find an error message as Msgserver Disconnected.

Check for message server logs to find out what exactly had happened.
