Solman System Monitoring: monitor a specific backgroung job

In Solman System Monitoring, we activate the alert for background job

monitoring.

It is the general MTE: R3BPServerSpecAbortedJobs

Solman generate the alert for all aborted jobs.

Question:

We would like to configure alert for a specific backgrounp job

(example: job ZXXX).

These alerts must tell us if the job is cancelled, or if the job is

terminated, #

How can we make this ?

When we create a User Defined alert, it is not possible to specify our

job name and the monitored status (cancelled, terminated, #).

Hi Felipe,

basically you just have to fill the job name in table ALBTCMON on the satellite system in order to create a new MTE in CCMS for this specific job but as Martin Lauer said you should rather go for Business Process Monitoring in order to have more flexibility in monitoring and also the process context.

You find all the necessary information under service.sap.com/bpm --> Media Library
