R/3 Functional in SDN

Hi SDN Team,

I have one suggestion.

The suggestion ....

The SDN is beautifully depicting all the facets of SAP, but it seems

to concentrate more on technical side of it. Being into SAP for 2 years,

I can very certainly imply that functional-know-how is very vital for

the exact application of technical concepts.

Here goes the suggestion: If in SDN we can have varoius functional

inputs as per related to SD, MM, FI, Payroll and so on. It will be of an

immense help for an ABAPer.

And I can assure that with functional also in place, SDN will be the

only place where any SAPer / ABAPer would be going to. That is for sure.

Kindly look into the feasibility of this suggestion, and correct me if

I am wrong.

And also, I would like to be a part in the development of SDN, kindly

tell me of the ways in which i can help the cause.

Hi Anil,

Your suggestion is a good one. It is a matter of resources and we don't want to spread ourselves to thin.

At the moment we are focusing doing the best in the area of SAP NetWeaver. Expansion into functional areas will be there in the future, but not this year.
