Using commands inside a text module

Is it possible to use commands like

/: IF &var1& = '1'

/:INCLUDE TEXT for e.g.

inside a Text Module.

For some strange reason i notice that commands do not seem to work in a Text Module.

I am looking at using Text Modules as a complete replacement of the client dependant Standard Texts.

Kindly advice if this is possible.

if u r working in smartforms then the if command is replaced by conditions tab of the text module and if u want to use include texts then use include text node instead of text module.
