Change Batch Characteristics

Hi SAP experts,

I am looking for an IDoc or BAPI which allows me to change the Batch Characteristics in the Batch Master record. Normally this can be done with transaction code MSC2N.

I have already investigated IDoc message type BATMAS03 and BAPI_BATCH_CHANGE, but I am not sure if the Batch Characteristics can be changed with this?

As far as I know BATMAS is the IDoc that's used to distribute changes to batch master data. So it should be fine to use it and the corresponding BAPI.
