ESS Software Components selection

ESS BP latest version 1.0 sp15

I am configuring the NWDI for the first time. I am trying to setup XSS specifically ESS and MSS.

I am following the XSS cookbook.

I have created a an XSSTRack and now I am trying to Add Software Components for ESS. I am confused because I have choices and I need to know how the components on the Portal which I have already deployed match up to the component selections on the Track tab--> ADD SC

on the ADD Sc selection I have 4 choices

SAP_ESS sap.com 600 SAP ESS 600 SAP ESS 600(employee self-services)

On the Portal loaded for ESS I have

sap.com SAP_ESS 600 SP15 (1000.600.0.15.1.20090303074308) SAP AG MAIN_ERP05PAT_C 20090311103016

Which Software component do I ADD ?

Hi ,

You should add SAP_ESS sap.com 600 SAP ESS 600 SAP ESS 600(employee self-services), which you will change the source for your customizations.All the 4 choices you are seeing is picked up by sld ie you have or someone else has deployed all these BPs in your servers of your landscape.
