Have you gone through this link where it has been clearly mentioned

[Copying Sales Order Costing to the SD Conditions|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/93/7434eb546011d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm]

You can copy the results of sales order costing to the
SD conditions. Copying can be carried out:

    * as a basis for pricing

If you want to use sales order costing as a basis for
pricing in SD, you can use the standard SAP condition type EK01.

    * at a statistical level

You can copy sales order costing at a statistical level, if you
do not wish to determine the price on the basis of this costing,
but you wish to use the costs determined to calculate the
profit margin in SD. EK02 is the condition type provided
for this in the standard system.

Hi Laxmipathi,

thanks for the reply..

I want some clarification..

when we have to do the Sales Order Costing..

i.e. while creating sales order or after creating sales order or before billing ???

What are the customizing settings we have to do for sales order costing ???

In Make To Order scenario, sale order costing will be done. Once you create a sale order, costing run will be made and after this only, procurement of components will take place for production.

For more information on this, check this link

Hi,

1)The costing what we do in sales order is Standard costing or Actual Costing ????

2) w.r.t to your reply

  • as a basis for pricing and

  • at a statistical level

Do we need different customizing for the above * two different scenarios?

Please help me!!

Thanks
