Hi Gurus,
In import manager if i take any parameter as a matching fields in its corresponding default import actions area under matchlevel and match type two options are there like Filtered under matchlevel and source and destination under match type. Please anybody make me clear with that properties.

Hi,
You can filter the source records so that the records does not satisfying filtering criteria can be excluded from importing. Also you can filter destination records so that the records does not satisfy filtering criteria can be excluded from Record Matching.
When the lookup field is used as a Matching Field then you can right click on that field to set the Filter criteria. Once you set the filter, you will find that Match Type Filtered becomes enabled for both Source and Destination.

Hi YugandherSantosh,
Match Class filtered source/destination is used to filter the records to be imported.
The filtration is done to compare the new recored to be imported either with the source records or the existing destination records in MDM.
