Special Procurment Key in APO

I am implementing SNP and PPDS as well and i need to know how to use Special procurment key 70 Withdrawal from alternative plant and 80 Production in alternative plant

If anyone know how Special Procurment Key works and CIF to APO.

Hi Amit,

In special procurement key the procurement option from other location is maintained. When material is CIFed from R3 to APO. CIF creates transportation lane automatically between two locations and the same material is also displayed there. This is extremely useful for different planning runs in SNP.

Though you need to maintain Means of transport manually in APO.

Hi Amit Sharma,

The Procurement type master data defines whether a product will be made inhouse or procured externally. The special procurement type defines more ellaboratively the procurement type. This key defines the extent of procurement. This key forms the basis of quota during integration. During CIF to APO, if you define with 70, it will withdraw from alternative plant and plans its purchase requisitions accordingly during planning run. If it is 80, the source of supply will be decided inthe alternative plant depending on the planning condition.
