Hi Umberto,

if you want to import objects from another Integration Builder Designer into your one, or if you want to import XI content shipped by SAP, then put the import files into the server side import directory and select ‘Object -> Import XI 2.0 Development Objects …’ within your Integration Builder Designer.

The path of the import folder can be found within the administration pages of the IB: ‘http://<yourServer>:<yourPort>/rep/support/index.html -> System/Server Information -> System root directory’. Add ‘\import ‘ to the path you find there. The directory is part of the server file system and should look similar to ‘
<yourServer>\usr\sap\<SID> \DVEBMGS80\j2ee\xi\repository_server\import’.

Hi Umberto,

Just follow this sequence :

integration repository --> software component double click --> select radio button which says “import of RFC and IDOC interfaces from SAP systems Permitted”. --> provide the connection data for import from SAP System --> then under imported objects, you have RFC --> right click and say import of sap objects --> then give your server details and import the RFC you want.

I hope this makes things clear to you.

Hi,

In your software component version, go to imported objects. Right click, and select import. In the window that appears, select the RFC or IDOC you want to import.

Make sure that the user id and password that you have provided at the time of SWCV creation is right. Else there will be an authorization error that will be thrown while you are trying to import.

Hi Umberto,

same way as XI 3.0.

You have to configure SWKV. Allow import. Put System-ID, Client, Server, and Group (usually "SPACE"). Then import via context from navigation frame "imported objects".
