We recently had a request to allow 400 more employees to view the portal data (taken from BEX queries in BW and displayed in SEM). Is there a way that these 400 employees could view the portal data without obtaining the BW licenses needed to access the data?
I have heard about caching the entire portal, but do not know how to implement this. If this would work, please provided some steps/ideas. We do broadcast more time intensive queries to the OLAP cache, but since this is still BW data, we don't believe that user without direct BW id's will be able to view it.
We are on BI 7.0 and SP17.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
