Source System connection when loading data from ECC 6.0

Our ECC 6.0 and BI 7.0 is installed in one server. I would like to load data from ECC 6.0 to BI. How to create source system? I have source system for flat file and Data Mart (Myself source system) but don't know how to create source system to laod data from ECC 6.0.

I want to load data from ECC 6.0 using SAP delivered datasources into BI object. As it is the same server, how to create Source System so that I can replicate ECC datasources into BI and load data into BI objects?

Please provide step by step guide.

hello

you will have to do this through RSA1 in BI system and you will need an RFC connection working as said above

Solved by myself.

Don't need rfc connection. BW self Source system did work.

Hi,

User tcode RSA1 from ur system and under Source system tab, select the type of Source system and right click.. u will get option create.. but make sure u have RFC working for the source system .
