Hi All

Sorry to ask you this basic question. But to clarify my doubt I put this question here.

What all are the Database Background job I have to schedule in my system and how to track them? I have scheduled all standard jobs in sm36. Is that enough?

ECC 6.0 on Oracle 10.2 is my system.

Regards,

A.K.M

Hi,

You can track the background jobs through SM37.

Hello Arvind,

you need to have following database jobs:

1. Check DB

2. Update statistics

3. Database backup jobs

all standard jobs through SM36 are only SAP jobs which are required to run in the system
