Handling Unit to Non Handling unit material transfer Problem

Hi Experts

Problem:

1. Transferring material from handling unit to non-handling unit by

VLMOVE, at target material handling unit is created automatically.

2. If Transferring handling unit material to non-handling unit by MB1B,

stock is updated at source material but stock from handling unit

material is not updated i.e. not decreasing.

Actually what is your reqt?

1) "at target material handling unit is created automatically."

means - Dont you want that new HU creation to happen? If that is the case please check whether that storage location is HU Managed. If it is HU Managed, you have to create a HU for that.

2) "If Transferring handling unit material to non-handling unit by MB1B, "

How can you do that? Is that storage location not HU Managed? If it s not HU Manages, when you do MB1B system does not understand that you are intending to reduce HU quantity as packed & non-packed material exist togather.

Please try to put your question still specific.

Unpack the material first from the HU.

This will post a material document of storage location to storage location transfer and material will be transferred to partner storage lacation.

Once material is available in partner sloc , you can carry out transfer to any material or sloc.

Need to know what is the way of working for u do unpacking.It can be done in 2 ways:

1)If packing station profile is present , then goto tcode HUPAST and give the HU number to be unpacked.

System will display the content of HU then put negative quantity against the material in it.

2) If 1) is not configured, then repacking storage type and bin will be present. transfer the stock to repacking storage type and bin.

3) IF HU is present in delivery, then goto packing screen of delivery and click button "unassign handling unit".
