Hi Experts,
I have created a process and the validity period of my process is 01/01/2009-12/31/9999.
Now, I am trying to create a new sub-process to tie to the process. However, I encounter this error: Subprocess SUBPROCESS/50000916 does not exist.
At this moment, I am not able to create any new sub-processes.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Debbie
I agree with Matt. It seems to be an error of an improperly deleted subprocess. More details on your approach to creating the process and subprocess would help us help you better.

Sounds like a subprocess was manually deleted on the backend and now there is a dependency that is erroring-out on that reference. Be very careful making manual deletions on the backend. There are many backend relationships formed between and among objects that are not visible from the NWBC front end.

Hi Debbie
Are you trying to create the subprocess in Complaince Structure->Central Process Hiererchy? Then please provide the same validity for the subprocess as per the process you have created.
You will see the validity date for the subprocess in the pop up when you select the Process and click on the create->Subprocess button.
Also please see that any other session doesnt lock the process in that time.
Thanks

Is this an issue when creating from NWBC or in Backend ?
Alternatively you try to create the process in the backend the steps are below:
1.Log in as Super User PC_Admin with SAP_GRC_SPC_All, Authorizations.
2. Execute the Transaction(Tcode): GRPC_STR_CREATE
3. Create a new Process by selecting "Create Central Process" in the Edit menu.
and Assign more process to the hierarchy.
4. Enter the Object Abbr -- <PRO> and Name <PROCESS> and enter validity Dates (as required) .
5. Click on the Check button and CLick on the Save Button
The Process will be created.
6. Goto to the Edit and Click on the Create Subprocess
7. Enter the Object Abbr -- <SPRO> and Name -- <SUBPROCESS> and Validity Dates (as required) .
8. Click on the Check Box and Click on the save button
The Subprocess will be created.
