Local creation

Hi Everybody,

MDM allows for local creation of various elements in the local clients. This is based on some settings which allows the same. How exactly is this implemented ?

Eg - say - vendor - I don't want some changes tobe done in local client [eg vendor name, ] but I want some tobe changeable in the local client[eg - payment terms]

Hi Vinay,

As far as i understood your question i think you are talking about providing permissions to various users for different access.

So, here for a particular user, in the roles table in Console you can give read only access for those fields which you dont want to be changed from local client and read/write access for those fields which you want to be changed from local client.

Here you have to maintain separate users and roles and then give the permissions on fields as per the requirement.
