Config for re-sequencing line item numbers when items are deleted

Hello Experts,

Is there any config to set the Order line items numbers sequentially ?

Let me explain.

Say we have an Order with items 10, 20, 30, 40.

The user deletes items say 10 and 30 and saves it.

The order is saved with line item 20 and 40.

Can we reassign these item nos as 10 and 20 ?

Is there any such configs ?

We are in the Museum version 3.1I

Hi

If you have line items 10,20,30,40 in the sales order and if you delete line items 20 & 40 then in sales order you can see all line items 10,20,30,40 . But when you do delivery then system will give line items as 10 & 30 only. This is because we have to know in which sales order which line item has been deleted. But if you want to see the line item in 10,20 then you have to enter the line item 20 again

Thanks for the response...

In the order, if line items 10 and 30 are present ( 20, 40 deleted )

and if you create Delivery, the line items created in the delivery will be 10 and 20 ( not 10, 30 )

unless you have applied Copy Control.

This conflict ( difference in line item no ) is actually causing problems for us.

We need to keep the item no same in both Order and delivery.

We had applied copy control but in case of Order Combination cases

copy control throws a dump.

Could you please sugest a way in which we can make both Copy Control

and Order Combination ( 0051 ) work simulataneously ?

Any suggestion will be welcome,
