SC with complete & correct details goes in held status after ordering it

Hi,

SC is complete with all the correct details. But when you order the same SC, it goes in the held status. And the more surprising system behaviour is, without making any changes in the SC, when you relogin and click on order button of SC then the same SC goes in the ordered status.

We checked out the following possibilities

1 - System performance issue -but system automatically does not change the status of SC after some time lag

2 - Scheduled Batch jobs are running correctly

Pls show the direction to resolve the issue or suggest the solution if any
