Hi Guys

What is the difference between these two transactions SXI_MONITOR or SXMB_MONI. ? Also when do we specifically use each ?

Hi,

SXI_MONITOR is used for just monitoring of XML messages.

By SXMB_MONI, you can do monitorig of XML msgs and also you can montior your archived msgs, see job overview, see persistence layer analysis and status monitor for sync-async communication.

Also when do we specifically use each ? - For just monitoring XML msgs, you can use SXI_MONITOR but for other things which are above, you will have to use SXMB_MONI.

You can monitor the messages that have been processed through the pipeline in transaction SXI_MONITOR , this transaction can also be accessed by starting transaction sxmb_moni and choosing "Monitor for Processed XML Messages".

SXMB_MONI is a super set of SXI_MONITOR

SXMB_MONI has other monitoring transactions like Processing Statistics, Archive XML Messages,Job Oveview, Status Monitor for Sync/Async Communication etc aprt from what SXI_MONITOR does

SXI_MONITOR is one step ahead of SXMB_MONI basically there is no difference b/n two
