Replicating material classification

Is it possible to replicate material classification from R/3 to SRM? How?

Hi VIjay

Via transaction mm03 in ECC in the classification view characteristics values are maintained for a product are maintained.

Functions like Material classifications, vendor partners, etc are not actually mapped from R/3 backend to SRM.To my knowledge, there is not integration for material classification between SRM and ECC.

Possibly you can develop a custom programm.

This is not possible as far as I have known (till SRM 5.5). You can find the supported adapter objects in transaction R3AC3.

If you do not mind what are you trying to achieve by replicating this into SRM.

It was a general question from a client. The reason could be, for example to search a material by characteristic values.
