changing BS

Hi there -

1. Is there anyway I can change the existing BS, I need to modify it for correct LS.

If the only way is to delete the existing one and recreate, what's impact on existing scenarios which are based on this.

2. What is the LS I can use in creating BS, any guideline documentation?

You help in this issue is appreciated.

Pat

Hi,

You can change the Business System without deleting the same. But you need to refresh the same.

After changing the Business System, you need to synchronize the same with SLD and Integration Directory.

i.e you need to refresh the cache.

Here it goes-

Go to Directory->Tools->Clear SLD Cache

Directory->Environment->Clear SLD Data Cache

Another way is -go to SXI_CACHE / Goto - Business System -> delete the content

Hope this helps-

HI Pat,

If you want to change the LS(What I understand by LS is Logical System) of a Bussiness sytem you can change it in SLD and then you can clear SLD data cache in Integration directory so that the change is reflected in ID.

There is no need to delete the bussiness system for this purpose.

>>>What is the LS I can use in creating BS, any guideline documentation?

LS is used mainly in scenarios where you want ot send or receive IDOCS from that preticular BS.

Thank you Yomesh for quick respose.

I did make the change of LS and made SLD cache refresh in both IR and ID.

While testing, it is still accessing old LS.

Hey Pat,

You can try going to sxi_cache and do delta cache refresh from there.

It takes some time to refresh cache sometimes.

wait for some time an dthen again check it.
