Logon Language

HI All,

I have created a service and while running it,it is not asking for any logon languauge.By default it is logging into EN.How can i provide the logon option.I have not given ~language parameter.

Hello Rakesh,

If you are using standard logon then the language should be on the logon page. If you are passing it in the URL then for the External ITS it is ~language, for the Integrated ITS it is sap-language. If it is not asking for a language or it is preselected on the logon page then please see transaction SICF if you are using the Integrated ITS and the .srvc file (global.srvc or <service>.srvc) if you are using the External ITS to see if the language has been specified.

I have given ~language DE in both SE80 and SICF.but still its not working.

Hello Rakesh,

Since you're using SICF, I'll assume you're using the Integrated ITS. In which case you should double click the service in SICF, go to the Logon Data tab and change the language setting under Logon Data.
