DB backup error

hi

when ever i takes bakup it gives me return code 1 and following error..

why?

BR0253W errno 13: Permission denied

Hi Mukund,

First set the parameter control_files in initSID.ora file.

The value of this parameter identifies your control file locations.

And second set your BRTOOLS permissions accrding to SAP NOTE 113747.
