BI Installation Issue

Dears,

I am installing BI 7.0 on Windows and oracle 10g database.

But in step Import ABAP its giving error:

u want to apply the patchset of oracle 10g - 10.2.02... it is minimum requirment to install NW7.0 befor u starts..

U pls check this log SAPDFACT.log in the sapinst_instdir ...

u can track ur error easily..

After applying patch on starting oracle its giving error:

ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced

resolved by opening the database in upgrade mode.

Thus now my patch level is 10.2 but still i am getting the same error in installation.

As suggested in different forms I also increased shared pool and SGA size but still same error.

I also found error in SAPPOOL.log

what is your dump release version?

what amout of paging was set?

Yes I am able to open my database

what is your dump release version?

I am installing Netweaver 2004s SR2

what amout of paging was set?

My RAM is 2 Gb and Paging memory is 12 Gb.

your system configration seems to be perfect but are you doing NUC installtion for BI7 system?

Hi,

Have you applied oracle patch 10.2.0.2 or 10.2.0.4.

Also go through SAP note 582427. it has given information for ORA-00604 combination with ORA-04031.
