Trans Directory in EP

Hello All,

We are having EP system(purely a JAVA engine).

If we look at directory structure, we can find C:\usr\sap\trans.

In ABAP system all transport requests will be stored as data and cofiles in trans directory.

But whats the use of Trans in JAVA engine, as we move the transport requests by import and export method.

Please help or guide.

Read about CTS+. It's possible to use transport requests for Java now.

Can any 1 briefly explain what CTS+ means for a java systems.

It would be great if you can write about it in few common words, which would give a overview of CTS+, so that i can start reading on that in help.sap.com.

Hi Ravi,

CTS+ is a new Enhanced Change and Transport System.It was introduced in NetWeaver 7.00 SAP_BASIS SP 13.
