Hi Gurus,

I want to define a job in SAP ECC via SM36.

Can this job call two ABAP programmes one by one?

Or

A job can only call one ABAP programm?

Thanks!

Jason

Not at all Manoj,

actually I was in the reply screen when you replied back to him.....if you see the time difference between our replies was also not too much...so when I replied back then I checked your message.

I hope this clarifies,I am sorry for it though,it was unintentional

Hi Manoj,Rohit

"multiple programs under one job"

I will defint the multiple job via SM36.

But I can't find the relevant button/menu at the job definition interface.

I found click 'Job wizard' button is OK. Right?

Thanks!

Hello Jason,

go to sm36 and clcik on create job

give the job name

and go to steps

define the program there and variant if it is there and then save it

when you will save it you go to the step list overview screen where you can see the program that you have defined earlier, now click on create and you will be able to define one more step there

this way you can define any no of steps(i.e any no of programs to run within the same job)

Let me know if this helps

Hi,

You can create job with multiple steps containing ABAP programs. You can enter one program in one step.

Hope this helps.
