Can I install SAP Java GUI on Fedora 10?

My reason for asking is twofold. Firstly note 959236 only indicate up to Fedora 9. Secondly, if I install it I make all the praparation steps after downloading , SU to root do chmod as requested then run install command then I get the welcome screen click on next and nothing happens after this. I've tried this many times, but no luck. I've even moved it to another directory and no luck. I have in the past installed older Java gui version on lower release of FC without any problem.

Please assist

Hello,

please make sure not to use IcedTea, use the official Sun JVM instead (see also system requirements of SAP GUI for Java).

Fedora 10 is on our list of new Linux distris to test. Once it is successfully tested, it will be supported (but not running on IcedTea).

Best regards
