dear guru,
i need advice my company looking 3party software to direct Access to our SAP Database
there is any Certificated Software to direct Access SAP Database layer

1. if you bought your Oracle license through SAP, you are not allowed to connect a 3rd party program to your Oracle database directly.
2. it is not a god idea to connect a 3rd party program because you give the possibility to change/delete/add records in your SAP Oracle database.
3. Most auditors will see this and tell you that this is dangerous, especially if you need to follow regulations such as SOX.
a. a recommrnded woraround is using SAP method such as Idoc, web methods, RFC or SAP XI.
