How to connect SAP server to external mail server using POP3 client?

Hello, we want to send MM orders by e-mail from SAP.

But we'd like to configure SAP server as POP3 client not SMTP server.

Does it exist such functionality in SAP?

How to do it?

If it is impossible to do it directly from sap can i use sendmail daemon for this purpose?
