An issue about SAPgui Logon

Former Member

Hi Expert,

I tried to logon a remote system by double click the system in the SAPGui 710. But an error message will pop up as following:

"partner '**************:sapdp00' not reached WSAWOULDBLOCK: Resource temporarily unavailable"

I tried other remote systems and met the same issue.

These systems were availabe one week ago.

I searched and find the following thread

But I still don't know how to do?

Can any expert who knows the solution provides more detailed steps to fix the issue.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards, Johnney

If its a remote service... first check that you can ping the Host or IP Address of the server if not reachable then you know what the problem is.

Also check that the entry in services file for sapdp00 is pointing to the right port.

Hi,

Please find the steps below.

1. go to <drive>:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (or click on start->run->drivers->etc)

2. open services file with notepad

3. search for the sapdp00

Hope this helps.

Hi Manoj,

I found the file and got the parameter as followings:

sapdp00 3200/tcp

...

But the last update time for the file is 2009-1-8. At the time, the connection worked fine.

Could you please let me know how to fix the issue?

Best Regards, Johnney.

hi johnney,

Did you try to logon to the remote system with a different machine?

I have experienced this error before, and its due to the local machine's IP itself that falls in a different subnet, hence its an IP connection issue for me.

There could be several reasons, but its mostly connection problems.
