Dear Anju,

ECC5.0 is supporting ORACLE 9.2.

> so is it mandatory now to go for Oracle upgrade for 10g.

Why its manadatory becuase Oracle De-supported 9.2 and its now end of support.

So its good to upgrade to 10g.

Hi,

The support is "not going to finish" for Oracle 9i.

The Oracle customer care for Oracle 9i has already finished (July 31, 2007).

The Oracle FREE extended support for ORacle 9i has already finished (July 31, 2008). Thereafter, extended support is provided until July 31, 2010 at extra cost.

Keeping that in mind, you should upgrade.

it is not "mandatory" to upgrade, but support will be provided only for "known" bugs and "new" ones will not be investigated.
