Error in view layout "The page cannot be displayed"

Dear all,

i tried to create a sample view. in the layout tab i am getting error like

"The page cannot be displayed". i have added the host file information also. i am accessing through ip adrress without using any vpn connection. is there any configaration are required in the server itself.

previouslly i faced the same problem. i able solve with this link.

if till problem remain same

start->Run->ipconfig /registerdns and give open .

if DNS not properly configure it mignht rectify.

Hi

Navigate to the following file in windows.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

and at the end of the file, put the ip address of your server . Save this file and then re-login to the SAP system.It shud work
