To use smart form

Hi All,

Previously I'm using R/3, now I'm using ECC6, shall I use smart form or script form ? which one is better ? How to use smart form ? Transaction NAST is not available in ECC6, is it same to use NACE ? Can anyone guide me how to develop a smart form & link to print program ?

Hi,

Instead of going to Sap script and smarforms in ECC 6.0, my advise is to develop the forms in Adobe.

Transaction code to access adobe is SFP(design the interface and layout)

If you desing your form using Adobe those it can be accessible by impaired people also(Blind people) using JAWS software

call the below function modules in the print program

FP_JOB_OPEN

FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME

FP_JOB_CLOSE

In NACE tocde we can assign the printprogram with adobe form.

Another way is you can desing your form in sap scirpt or smartform(NACE will work in ECC version also)

You can use either SAP scripts or Smart forms that

depends upon the requirement.

Hi,

Go to transaction smartforms, there we can print smartforms, and for scripts go to transaction se71.

NAST is not a tarnsaction.

NAST is a table and not a transaction.NACE is transaction, and NACE is only used to do config related to forms

I would suggest you u go for smartforms,
