Hi VM

For the first one , If you go to VA02 and save the sales order without changing any data then you will get the message NO DATA CHANGED , For the second one, when you save the sales order you will get the message as SALES ORDER XXXXXXXHAS BEEN SAVED

Hello Vikram,

Text #1...NO DATA CHANGED - This display comes into picture When you open a Sales order for modification and save it without any modification.

Text #2...SALES ORDER XXXXXXX HAS BEEN SAVED - This appears when the sales order has been successfully saved after filling all the important related data.

Hi Vikram,

The first one you will receive the message when you save the sales order after entering the order number in "VA02" T.Code.when no changes were made to the sales order after entering the order number in VA02 and then pressed on save button. You will receive this message.

2)The second one will come in two cases.

one is while creating the order through "VA01" T.Code.

second case is after entering the order number in "VA02" T.code when you make some changes to the order and then pressing save.you will receive this message.

Regards,

Krishna.

Hi

first time u r saving an application , u get the message as "data saved" on message bar at the bottom of the screen. if u click again without changing anything system says as"data already saved". subsequently if u change anything by going to change mode of that transaction then system says as "data saved or changes saved" eventhough in change mode for example (va02) u entered, but u didn't change anything and clicked save button, system will not data saved mesage but gives data already saved. so it very clear "some thing is change or not changed"

hope u understand

sk

Hi Vikram,

Text #1...NO DATA CHANGED will appear when you save the document with out making any changes to sales order in VA02

and

Text #2...SALES ORDER XXXXXXXHAS BEEN SAVED will appear when you save the document with some changes to sales order in VA02

Thanks,

When you are in change mode of the sale order (VA02) and not changed any data and while saving the sale order, you can see the first text.

Either in creation mode or change mode of a sale order after giving all the required informations and saving, you can see the second text.

thanks
