How to install 3rd language in one Non-Unicode sysem ???

In my non-Unicode system ( version ECC5.0), i've installed chinese

language package .So ,now i can logon sap using english and chinese

languages .

But now ,i want to know if i can use the traditional chinese

language ?and in non-unicode system if i can install traditional

chinese language package ?

Must i reinstall the system in unicode mode?For my info, in the

ECC 5.0 version, the MDMP function is void.Is it ?

Can you give me some advice?

Hi Shao,

You need to check what languages your current code page supports. My guess is that you are using code page 8400 that only supports simplified chinese.

I suspect that you might have to convert to unicode to get support for both.

Simon,

You can download the language CD from service.sap.com/swdc --> Installations and Upgrades --> SAP Application Components . Select your component then OS and DB. You can see Language DVDs there
