Using external Web dynpro components

Hi all!

I have a doubt.

Let's suppouse I have two Applications. One manages customers and another Bills.

At this point I'd like to use my customer web dynpro component in my bill application.

I think this can be achieved by importing it as some kind of library but i'm not sure how.

Do any of you know how to import other applications components?

Regards

Hi Julio,

You should use DC for this. Create DC, add you WD component to DC. Add this DC as used DC to another DC, add component to "Used Web Dynpro Components" and do context mapping, event subscription etc.

Hi Maksim,

Could you please explain how to do that a bit more detailled?

I've done and deployed a Development component (I think) but I can't find it to use it as "Used Web Dynpro Components"

Best Regards and thanks in advance

So what I understand is that my web dynpro application has to by a DC (Development component) in order to use other DCs.

You CAN'T use DCs from a standard web dynpro application, right?

Hi Julio,

Yes, it is right. You should use only DC`s.

Check this:
