Hi, are there any ways to save a Idoc to a file in a simple way?
Thanks
Hi Rune,
In WE02 transaction, highlight ur IDOC...
On ur toolbar, there is a symbol named "export to".
U can use it to save it as a spreadsheet, local file etc.. on ur system..
Thanks,
Prashanth

Simplest way to create a file form the Idoc (especially for test purposes) is:
- Transaction WE02
- Open the relevant IDoc
- In the Menu choose IDoc > Print IDoc
In thenext overview choose
- List > Export > Local File > Unconverted (to create a .txt flat file)
- List > Export > Local File > Spreadheet (to create an Excel File)
- List > Export > XML Export (to create an XML file)

Hi Rune,
yes - define a file port in TCODe WE21 (on the R3 side)
and use this port while sending the idoc
this will create the idoc on the R3 server

HI Guys,
WE02 was not working for me, but I've found the option to put IDoc file to application server in WE19.

Hi Rune,
When u save the IDOC, save it as a local file in "unconverted format".
You can upload this file in WE19 directly.
Hope this helps you!!

Thanks, exporting the Idoc in transaction WE02 helped me! I want to use this file in WE19, and upload the Idoc there to test. Any suggestions on what type of file I should export to?
Thanks!
