Hello,
We have configured alerts for our PI system. All the alerts for comm channel errors etc get triggered successfully. But for failed messages, there are no alerts generated.
The alert rule in RWB is set to No Restriction on where the errors occur section and the suppress alerts check box is unchecked.
We are on PI 7.0 SP14.
Are we missing any other configuration to get alerts for failed messages?
Thanks
MLS
Even though I set it to 5 mins, no alerts for the failed messages.
No issues in the sost either.

Hi,
Check the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER . It will tell you if the alert was triggered, if so, then what rule and category triggered the alert. It will also tell you if the alert was delivered successfully or was there a problem while delivering the alert.
Check if the alert is supressed in the RWB ->Alert Configuration.

Thanks Balaji for pointing me in the right direction.
