Hi,

For SRM and EP integration, there is the concept of business package.

In SRM 7.0 onwards, EP is a mandatory component. and the complete technology has been moved to webdynpro.

You need to install the SRM business package in EP using JSPM. and then the SRM roles are visible there in EP as iviews. Then, You need to create connection systems in EP so that these iviews can talk to Backend SRM system.

As per the user, roles can be restricted on EP side as well. But the authorization for the role to that User will be from SRM backend.

Hi,

In SRM 7.0 ITS is not avaibale. There will be no BBPSTART "ITS template".

Even there is no SAP GUI ( SAP Screens of the ITS template ) in SRM 7.0. Hence no PBO, PAI functionalities.

Regarding SICF activation...It is not required to Activate SICF for ITS , but it need to be activated for Webdynpro.

Webdynpro Components , Screens (Views , Window ) are linked to EP. EP is has functiolality of iviews, pages etc by which webdynpro views are conected. Even has separate roles other than SRM roles. Hence SRM users need to be mapped EP Roles appropriately.

SRM 7.0 , part of business Suit has Central User management and Unified access to SRM and R/3 system.
