Problem In printing?

Hello

Gurus,

I am printitng the PF form but the problem is the printpreview is comming but the prinout when given from

spool req the print out is not comminh.

I am giving The the details of output device.

output device - loc1,

device type -HPLJIIID,

access method F:PRINTING ON PRONTEND COMPUTER

Host printer : __default.

But if i give the ouput device as locl.the printout is comming.

device type -SAPWIN,

access method F:PRINTING ON PRONTEND COMPUTER

Host printer : __default.

I am unable to solve this issue. The Printout is in landscape format.

But if select locl the formatting is not correct when it is correct in loc1.

Plz help.

Hi,

Some printer does not allow landscape printing (for forms in sap.) .But does it give a perfect output in print preview.If so the printer is making the problem.

Goto hp site and check compatibility with sap for the same.

Also is it locl or loc1 u mentioned ?

Try the following in your SPAD->Output Devices

Device Type : SAPWIN : Rel 4.x/SAPIpd 4.09+ONLY!

Device Class: Standard Printer

Host Spool : F: Prinitng on Front End Computer

Hoste Printer: __DEFAULT(i.e.,UnderscoreUnderscoreDEFAULT)

I got the print perfectly in Landscape mode also.Also, you pass the necessary fields perfectly to the Function module,You will recieve a status message in a pop up window saying that Print has gone to the so and so printer.You should get this if everything is succesful from SAP Side.
