hello, friends.
here is the situation...
1. a header material has several numeric characteristics which are the dimensions of the material
2. price depends on multiplying these characteristics (as quantity)
3. in configuration profile assigned to header material in Profile Detail > Confign Initial Screen > Sales Order, if the "manual changes allowed" box is ticked.
4. during creation of sales order, and after these numberic values are entered, derived quantity is correct
5. in change sales order mode, if we go to the configuration screen and back to the overview screen, the quantity is multiplied many times over (error)
6. if we untick the "manual changes allowed" box, everything corrects by itself.
what are the possible reasons for this? could the ticking the check box have caused a loop? or could there be an error in configuration set up?
many thanks for your valuable inputs.
regards.
hi
its because of that Tick.

hello, friends.
i found out that the same configuration profile was assigned to both the header and component materials. a "loop" was then created if the order was in change mode. the unticking of the "manual changes allowed" in the configuration profile somehow arrested the loop.
of course, a more permanent and lasting solution would probably be to assign different profiles to the header and component.
thanks...
