WD for ABAP: Drag and Drop: UI elements are not available in the favorites

Hi,

some UI elements like DropTarget, LinkChoice, ToolBarLinkChoice, AcfExecute aund AcfUpDownload, are not available in the layout menu of the Web Dynpro Explorer in the area of the favorites. But it is possible to insert these UI elements by using the contextmenu of the RootUIElementContainer and selecting "Insert Element".

Do these UI elements correctly work?

Yes these elements work perfectly fine.....

These not just not added to those favioute list.

Generally if you have a question about UI elements, check the documentation in the WDA UI elements section:

If you find it documented there, then you know it is safe to use. Not only are there some UI elements that aren't in the toolbox, but also some that don't come when you right mouse click. Some new UI elements can only be the Root Container UI element and must use the SWAP Root Container menu option to use them.

These UI elements aren't available in the toolbar, but available in the contextmenu of the RootUIElementContainer with Insert Element.
