Hope u all are doing well.
This is regarding function derive structure in project builder. In PS structure i have second level WBS is in released status and when i am trying to add any new WBS at third level under this released WBS its giving an error message "Superior WBS element released or technically completed". As per this message, as the upper level WBS is in released status and newly created WBS has status CRTD which means its inconsistency in project hierarchy.( Same is applicable for system status TECO ).
Now here my question is, if upper level WBS has system status REL then while adding any new WBS below to this WBS why cannt take default system status REL ?
